How to See Profiles You Visited on LinkedIn

LinkedIn keeps no list of the profiles you open. The "Who's viewed your profile" page lists people who opened your page. The search box keeps your search terms, and the data archive you can download has no browsing history. To find a profile you looked at last week, you can search your browser history, retrace your steps inside LinkedIn, or run an extension that records each visit.
LinkedIn keeps no record of your visits
You opened a recruiter's profile on Tuesday, closed the tab, and now you want to send the invite. LinkedIn gives you nowhere to look. It stores your searches, your reactions and your sent invites. It does not store the profiles you opened.
On a free account you get your last 5 viewers for 90 days, and no list of the profiles you opened.

Other people can see that you opened their profile, unless you browse in private or semi-private mode. LinkedIn's help page on profile views covers viewers only; the same 90-day window means a free account with no views in the last three months sees an empty page.
Option 1: search your browser history
Your browser keeps a history entry for each LinkedIn profile you opened in it, unless you used incognito mode.
- Open the history page:

linkedin.com/in/. Profile URLs contain that path, so the search returns profile pages (plus a few sub-pages such as someone's activity or experience). - Narrow it down by name if you remember one. LinkedIn sets the page title to "Name | LinkedIn", so a first name is enough.

linkedin.com/in/ returns only profile visits. Names come from the page title; the visit itself is a URL and a time.Browser history misses four things:
- The LinkedIn app. Profiles you opened in the app do not appear in your browser history. If you scroll LinkedIn on your phone in the evening, those visits are gone.
- Anything older than 90 days. Chrome keeps history for 90 days and then deletes it.
- Your other devices. A profile you opened on your work laptop is missing on your phone unless you sync history between them.
- Context. The entry shows a name and a timestamp. It does not say why you opened the profile or whether you sent an invite afterwards.
Option 2: retrace your steps inside LinkedIn
Four places inside LinkedIn record what you did, and one of them may include the person.
- Recent searches. Click the search box and the dropdown shows your last search terms. If you found the profile through a search, rerun it.
- Your activity. Open your own profile, then Activity. The Reactions and Comments tabs list the posts you interacted with. If you reacted to something the person wrote, the author is one click away.
- Sent invitations. My Network → Manage → Sent shows the invitations you have out. Accepted ones move to your connections; ignored ones stay listed as pending until they expire after six months.
- Messages. If you messaged them, the conversation is in your inbox with a link to the profile.

Each of these only helps if you did something beyond looking. A profile you opened and closed appears in none of them.
Option 3: record each visit as you browse

From the list you can add a person to a watchlist or export the whole list as CSV. The built-in chat takes plain questions such as "who did I look at last Tuesday with recruiter in the headline".

Profiles you visited on LinkedIn: questions
Does LinkedIn show a history of profiles I viewed?
No. LinkedIn has no page and no export for the profiles you opened. The "Who's viewed your profile" list is other people looking at you.
Can I see profiles I visited on LinkedIn on my phone?
Not through LinkedIn. Visits made in a phone browser sit in that browser's history; visits made in the LinkedIn app leave no history at all, so you cannot get them back. LinkedAsk captures visits in desktop Chrome only.
Does the LinkedIn data export include the profiles I visited?
No. The archive you request under Settings → Data privacy contains your connections, messages, posts and profile data. It has no record of the profiles you opened and no list of your viewers.
Can the other person see that I looked at their profile?
