What is an MCP server for LinkedIn data?
MCP is the open protocol AI tools use to call external data. LinkedAsk runs an MCP server for your account: connect it once and your assistant can read your activity, watchlist and stats. Ask "who from my watchlist viewed me this week" and the answer comes from your real data, in the same chat as everything else.

Which clients are supported?
Any MCP client. Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor are the ones most people connect.
Can the AI send messages or invites through LinkedAsk?
No. The MCP tools are read-only plus saving charts to your dashboard. LinkedAsk never clicks or sends anything on LinkedIn, and neither can an assistant connected to it.
Does this use my LinkedAsk chat credits?
No. Only the built-in chart builder uses credits. MCP runs on your own AI subscription.
Is my data sent to Anthropic or OpenAI?
Only what your assistant requests during a conversation you started, the same way it reads any other connected tool. LinkedAsk does not push data anywhere on its own.
Do I need Pro for MCP?
Yes. MCP and API keys are included in Pro.
Can I revoke access?
Yes. Delete the connection or key in Settings and it stops immediately.
