A history of everything you did on LinkedIn

Try to find the profile you opened last Tuesday. LinkedIn has no page for it.

Dashboard overview: profile visits, invites sent, new connections and conversations, with the change for the selected period.

What gets recorded

Keep using LinkedIn the way you always do. While you browse, LinkedAsk reads what is already on the page and writes it to your account: profiles you visit, invites you send and which ones get accepted, posts you react to, conversations and who replied, followers, your own posts and their analytics. It never clicks or sends anything.

Where is my LinkedIn sent invitations history?

On LinkedIn the trail ends at the Sent tab: accepted invites move to Connections without a date, withdrawn ones leave no record, expired ones vanish. LinkedAsk keeps each invite with its sent date and accepted date, so you can see acceptance by day and spot invites hanging for weeks.

Does LinkedIn’s data export include this?

LinkedIn’s archive has your connections, messages and posts, but not the profiles you visited, your reactions or who viewed you. LinkedAsk exports exactly that day-to-day activity, one CSV per type, any time. There is an API too.

Activity history: questions

Does LinkedIn show a list of profiles I visited?

No. LinkedIn only shows who visited you, and only the last 5 without Premium. There is no page of the profiles you opened. LinkedAsk records them as you browse, with the date and the headline at the time.

Can I see invitations I sent months ago?

LinkedIn withdraws pending invitations automatically after about six months and they disappear from the Sent tab. LinkedAsk keeps every invitation it saw you send, with the sent date and, if accepted, the accepted date.

Does LinkedIn’s data export include this?

The export you can request under Settings includes connections, messages and your posts. It does not include the profiles you visited, your reactions with post context, or who viewed you. LinkedAsk covers those gaps and exports all of it to CSV on demand.

Will this get my account restricted?

LinkedAsk never clicks or sends anything for you. It only reads what is already on your screen while you browse. No campaigns, no auto-invites, no auto-messages.

Does it capture history from before I installed it?

No. It records from the moment the extension is active. That is one more reason to install early.

Does anything run in the background?

Only if you turn it on. A few LinkedIn pages, such as your viewers list, cannot be read from an open tab, so LinkedAsk offers a read-only refresh on a schedule in a hidden window. It is off by default, explained before you enable it, and pausable any time.

Does it work on the LinkedIn mobile app?

No. LinkedAsk is a Chrome extension and records activity in the desktop browser where it is installed. The dashboard opens anywhere.
